Zelman definitely recognized the signs. Well, he'd won a drinking contest against Shunsui, drinking him clean under the table without so much as becoming really buzzed. He would win this contest if it killed him.

She waited for the waitress and ordered another couple of hamburgers and fries. That and a couple more pops to wash the bloody food down with.

Zelman decided he'd had enough wit the burger and fries and went for an order or a whole roasted chicken. It would change the flavor, if nothing else.

She ate at a snail's pace with half closed eye and a crinkled nose. She looked up at him and burped loudly and shook herself off.

He was slowing down too, but he was not going to let her win. His pride was at stake, after all.

"One moment please", she said getting up and going to the bathroom. She came back ten minutes later and started at a faster pace again, "I had to go to the bathroom", she sniggered popping all of her knuckles.

"I did not vomit, though I did slip in some while I was on my way in and now it is pasted all over my rump", she said sniffing herself and cringing slightly, "Also, I do not puke up my food, it should never go to waist", she grumbled.

Kisuke chose that moment to pop out of the woodwork, literally. "Hey there! Having fun! I hear it's rather unusual for a girl to stay in the women's room that long!" He gave her a goofy grin. "Cheating at a contest is a big no no! I might have to intervene and declare Zelman the winner if I find out it's true!" He held his hat with one hand, other hand holding his fan, grin plastered on his face. "After all, it's not fair to him!"

"I did not puke", she said truthfully and narrowed her gaze at him, 'Have you ever heard of diarrhea before people, it has a tendency to keep you in there for a while", she said rubbing her stomach and then it gurgled loudly. She face planted forward in her food, "Ouchhh", she she groaned as she looked up with fries and ketchup all over her face.

Emi floated in at that moment, in her egg bunny form and began laughing hysterically. "Funny! Bomb funny!" She floated to the cieling and stayed there.

"Well, that was.... amusing."
Zelman blinked a bit. It wasn't the first time he'd seen someone faceplant into their food before, but he'd not seen it under these particular circumstances.
"Does that mean you're done?"
He hoped she was. His own stomach was starting to rebel on his as well.

"Yes... take me to the doctor", she groaned, "I feel like I'm dying", she said and her face was slowly turning red and then green. This was a very weird and bad situation. Now she might go into a puking fit, maybe she needed some tums.

Kisuke's eyes brightened. "Ah! A doctor! Might not be a bad idea for either of you." He gave Zelman a slightly critical glance. After all, the vampire was still not up to peak, even with the blood from last night. "Well than, since I don't think either of you have the power to get there yourself, how about I carry you over to the health clinic, eh?"
