Synopsis about childhood: not much is known about Emi's childhood, partly because she's still a kid
History and explanations:
Emi was born into a family of, assumed four, including her mother, father, and a sister who died supposedly at a young age. Emi was told this was due to illness but that might be a cover up for other things. Emi was born of a magical race similar to fairies, though no one really knows for sure what her race is. What is known is that when she was very young, though old enough to have a basic idea of what's going on, and probably not any older than she is currently, her village was attacked by a demon who wanted to exploit her powers. He went to the extend of destroying her village and killing everyone within to try and coerce her into becoming his servant, which, of course, backfired. This was, in part, because her mother had told her not to do anything he'd told her to do no matter what, and partly because of a protective spell her parents had placed on her when they'd found out she was being targeted by the demon.
It is possible that she had contact with her dead sister at the time of this series of events in her life, though how it effects her now is yet to be revealed. More information will be revealed as time goes on.
Abilities:
Shape shifting: Emi is able to change her shape at whim. Basic shapes are easiest, though other forms also come quite easily to her, mainly because she's familiar with them, such as the "egg bunny" form, and firefly.
Size Control: Emi is able to change her size, either shrinking to incredibly small sizes, or increasing her "visible mass" to make herself bigger through something similar to thrusting her particles out away from her, then solidifying them, unless she's going for the "ultimate escape", which involves her expanding her particles out as far as possible before they snap apart and fly through whatever is in the way, only to re-congregate again at a predetermined point like a mini supernova, sort of like teleportation but not.
Color changing: Emi can change the color of her skin and other physical features at whim. Usually this is limited to her eyes switching between red and blue, or a mix between the two. She does not always control this ability and it sometimes occurs at random. It has yet to be determined if there is any reason behind this.
When in "Egg Bunny" form, she can fly with the bat-like wings on her back. This form is non-gender specific, smooth as an egg, with bunny ears. In this form, she has no actual feet but a pair of hands that act as both hands and feet. In this form, she can also go "invisible", phase through solid objects, and change her size.
Empathy: Emi is empathic. She is able to feel the emotions of those around her, looking beyond the outer facade. She seems most able to do this with her "Foxy" (Gin), but can do so with others as well.
Two known dragon forms:
Red Dragon:
This form comes in the type of Chinese dragon and usually seems to appear when Emi is in immediate physical danger. This form is rather large and serpentine, breathes fires, and is fairly quick, given the size, without wings. This form is entered by Emi "going to sleep" as instructed by the voice of her older, deceased sister, then transforming. It seems this form is also more of a defensive, as opposed to offensive form, usually protecting by either being large in size, or quickly escaping, using its fire to blind or confuse the enemy.
Green Dragon:
This form seems primarily geared towards protection, being an attacking sort of dragon with the ability to fly with vast wings, though usually in a small form, quick and agile for speedy attacks or retreats. This transformation is triggered by recitation of a certain "poem" under the right emotional circumstances.
Purple/Blue Dragon:
This form is large in size, more akin to the usual size of mighty dragons considered in older tales of knights slaying demon dragons, with vast wings in an almost butterfly build allowing for powerful upsweeps, propulsion, and large scale attacks. The mace-like tail is a deadly weapon of immense size, with bone spikes of at least a half food length for the shortest spike, the longest being about a foot and a half from the spur of bone that makes the end of the tail. This transformation seems to be triggered by loved ones being in danger while being in a sense of ease, though this is debatable. First transformation occurred when her guardian came under attack and she thought about how his emotion state compared to that of her deceased ancestor when their village had been attacked.
