Role playing blitz is just that, lightning round role play. This is a great way for people to up their post counts for admittance to the rest of the board, to practice role playing in general, and to have a great time.
Role plays in this section will be more of a "traditional" style where there is a "DM" or game master. One of the "Powers that Be" or the "Staff" will fill this role, at least for now. (Possibly, in the future, professors will also be able to do this. ) This person will give a scenario and everyone interested in playing will hop on and post to further whatever is already going on. Just as the name says, this is going to be fast and is excluded from the "three day" rule. If you bow out, you will have to catch back up if you choose to jump back in while the thread is still active.
The length of time any given thread is open in this section is up to the game master. They may choose to leave it open for days on end, close it after a few hours, or whatever. If it is locked, the thread is either over or temporarily closed. A notice will be given at the end of the thread to let you know which is the case. The game master has the right to change or redirect any posts as necessary to keep things on track. Consider this ultimate role playing, if you will.
