"maybe............" kenshin wasn't completely sure as to what he was looking at. They looked like playthings. there were all sorts of things there. he picked up a doll wearing a kimono and thought that Miss Kaoru-dono would like it. the others would be hard to get something for......

"Nice shop, would you happen to have Ignition Cloth gloves here would you?" he asked. (( note that Miketsukami and Roy are played be 2 different people, i just use the same style sometimes. ))

Kisuke beamed as two new customers entered the shop. "Welcome! Welcome! Come in and feel free to look around! We carry all kinds of interesting little trinkets here! And if we don't have it, we can get it! I'm Kisuke Urahara, proprietor of this shop. Oh, and by the way, we carry things that aren't exactly 'legal' as well." He gave a slight wink. "Just don't tell the president about it, okay? Oh wait! I AM the president!" He laughed lightly at his own joke.
"As to your question, Mustang, wasn't it? Yes, we do carry that here. Do you want just the cloth or do you want it sewn into anything particular?"

Kisuke scratched at the back of his head for a moment as he thought about that. "Well, yes, I think we can do that. In fact, if you want, I might have a pair of gloves already made. I'll have Ururu go check." He turned to a pig-tailed girl who was sweeping up front. "Hey, Ururu, could you go check and see if we have any ignition cloth gloves in back?"
The girl nodded, saluting smartly, and practically ran to the back to check.
Waiting, Kisuke had rung up Kenshin's purchases and accepted the money, giving back the appropriate change. "Have a nice day! Feel free to drop by anytime!"
He turned to Soshi. "And what about you? Anything in particular I can help you with?" He eyes the young man curiously.

Kisuke didn't even act surprised that this lad knew about his secret underground training facility. Apparently he'd been talking to the right people. "Well, I don't know about that," he scratched absently at the back of his neck. "I mean, I don't open it up for just anyone, after ll."
He grinned suddenly. "But hey! A tour of my store is always possible, though it probably wont' do you much good because the merchandise changes constantly. Over there are the sweets. Over here are the harder to find items, like gigais and such, not that I expect you to need to worry about those kinds of things. And over there, are your usual, run of the mill items that you'll find at any convenience store. Any other items, well, you'll have to ask me privately for them because, like I said earlier, we sometimes carry things that aren't exactly.... legal."

*Miketsukami ((His duplication)) walks in, the shop being the first place he could think of after finding out that Gin had no residence in or near the college, and looking ever so slightly frantic*
"Urahara-san, are you here?" He asks in a slightly raised voice, and continues before he can get an answer "Have you seen Gin-san?"

Kisuke stepped into the shop from the back portion of his store, where his personal living quarters were located. "Well, hey there, back so soon?"
He scratched at the back of his head at the question. "Gin? No, can't say that I have. Sorry. But if you tell me what's going on, I might be of some assistance."
He felt Soshi's spiritual pressure and decided it wasn't quite the same as previously. Was this some kind of clone of the original? A spiritual manifestation of the original sent off like he'd researched about with certain types of ninjas where they could "duplicate" themselves as a means of either fooling others or at least doubling the capabilities of the original, in a manner of speaking. "I hope you're not doing any soul splitting, though I could be wrong in saying that you are not the "original" Soshi. Am I right?"

"As for me being the original, I am the also the original, you could simply say that I am in two places at once.
((I was kind of going out on a limb there, you asked about the one thing that has ZIPPO explanation in the anime, I will also note that I believe there wouldn't be any real spiritual pressure difference except for the fact that he's both in 2 places at once, (that's got to cause a disturbance) and the fact that I think he's... kind of soul splitting, but they are still tightly bound together. There is also his teleportation ability he possesses that is related to the splitting ability, but not in the sonido/shunpo 'flash stepping so fast that it makes duplicates' style.))

(I am operating under the theory that your doppelganger effect is similar to what can be done in Naruto. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. I'm not as well versed, in real life, about these kinds of things, as I should like.)
Kisuke nodded in understanding. "Ah. So our little mascot has taken a liking to you, has she? Strange that you can't find Gin, though. Wonder what the old man's up to." He mused to himself, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully for a moment.
"So, I take it you either want Gin to come get her, or some kind of advice on how to deal with your little situation. Am I right?" He smiled an almost happy puppy dog smile.
