"Oh, I'm not worried about warning anyone. That can be done without too much trouble," Kisuke said, looking up. "I have my ways for that." He grinned suddenly. "But when you need a potential army! That's something else, indeed!"

(Consider this to have happened before she went to Soshi's place.)
Back in the area of Fan's place, where he apparently lived and slept, Emi decided to explore. She saw some fun goodies on the table, along with a sandwich. Well, she didn't want a sandwich, but goodies, so she ignored the sandwich. The unfortunate thing was that, in so doing, she accidentally brushed it with her dress, some dried leaf fragments spilling out onto the bread. She reached for an apple, but suddenly hearing noise from outside, she quickly returned to her egg bunny form and exited the area as quickly as possible.
