Matsumoto Rangiku wandered down and through the spicy mall atmosphere local to the College of Anime. She found all sorts of necessities and frivolities everywhere she turned. Anything could be found here from jewelry shops to clothing stores, from stores that featured anything a dedicated cosplayer could desire to the greatest collection of ties you would ever want. At this store she made a face and laughed outright. This was her wonderland that she thrived in. She planted her stiletto clad feet, took a deep breath, and dived right in. Who knew? She might even find someone interesting in the mess along the way. That was all part of the adventure. Today she might find new bows to plant in her taichou's frosty spikey excuse for a haircut or a set of bracelets to pass around to her friends around CoA. Anything could happen!

Rydia of the town that was known as Myst had little experience with malls. They were a feature of large gatherings of people and she had dwelt a long time in different types of isolation. As a child she had lived in the small village Myst which by itself had been far from the city, on the other side of the mountains and the only location of residence for miles around. She could have fallen out of her front door to meet those who dwelt in the woods. Her love of the magic around her had much more to do with the experiences of her youth.
But this was a different arena altogether. There were a lot of people milling about on their own errands. Many were laughing in small groups. There were mothers with children, men looking uncomfortable trailing after passionate girlfriends. Everyone seemed to be carrying something in their arms. But everyone, on the whole, seemed happy. The delight of interaction with many people was a wonder to behold. Some might call her a people watcher, but there was so much to understand just by watching and listening. She was not hesitant to speak, but her words had the possibility of power. She could summon mighty creatures to her aid with just a few words. She could cast dark spells with different words. Words held a lot of power, if you knew how to use them. Now she had to learn how to use them in a different way.
These were her thoughts at this point. She didn't feel awkward and she didn't feel that she stood out. She knew she did but she was at peace with that which she was. She stepped through the large doors and picked the first business she came to...a jewelry store. Someone familiar was already within the store, looking at the glittering display of finery. She was drawn more to the natural appearing plain leather corded items. She looked them over, and smiled in Matsumoto's direction. Matsumoto was one of the other inhabitants of the shop. Now SHE was one who showed an exuberant confidence and delight in every breath she took. Maybe she could learn the type of magic that she wove....over time and observation of course.

Emi had decided to tag along, unseen, with Rosy. She'd transformed into a shrunken form of egg bunny and gone invisible, hovering just out of reach over Rosy's head as she watched and wondered. There sure was a lot of stuff!

Matsumoto was trying on bracelets at the moment. They were all quite appealing, but she wasn't sure if they were for HER. She was being just a little bit picky.
"Hmmm. I think I need a second opinion. Hey, you're Rydia right? Do you want to come help me decide?" Matsumoto held two sets of bracelets up. One had a pattern of flowers and vines, beautiful but simple; the other had a lot of shiny blingy studs of different sizes, most of them square cut and a few teardrops dangled off the ends of one. "Which would YOU prefer?" She grinned at her new friend.

Ciel maneuvered around the gigantic mall, feeling slightly suffocated by the mass of people. He honestly couldn't think of anything specific in mind that he needed, but the glimmering displays coming from in front of the jewelry story caught is eye before he ducked in. He decided that it wouldn't hurt to look for a present for Lizzie once in awhile (and maybe finding something for her mother might earn him a few brownie points, too).
The earl guided himself over to an assortment of hair ornaments and furrowed his brow in concentration, trying to picture what Lizzie might like.

Ranmao decided to greet herself to Ciel by suddenly warmly embracing him from behind, heedless to the fact that her somewhat prominent feminine anatomy squished up embarrassingly against the back of his head. When she let go, she trilled a quiet mew of "Hii-iiiiii~" and quite skillfully picked out a lovely rose gold bracelet with small pink and white diamond studs and an enameled ivy design that sat safely inside a case. "Good for fiancee," she proclaimed.
At that point she noticed two rather striking other ladies in the vicinity.
"Second opinion," she suggested to Ciel, nodding at Rangiku and Rydia.

"Ack! Don't do that!" the young earl spat at Ran Mao and took the chance he could to jump away from her. Trying to keep from making a bigger scene than he wanted, he gritted his teeth and contemplating going off to find a nice, solid wall to bang his head against. He finally let out a lot sigh that seemed to carry most of his frustrations out with it; after all, he was probably more used to Ran Mao and her ways that he would've liked to admit.
He hazily glanced at the bracelet Ran Mao had pointed out before finally focusing on it. "...she does like pink..." he mused to himself as he studied the piece of jewelry.

Kyoko entered the shop knowing she could find something for Moko-san. there she saw several people she didn't know. She side-step them to get to the necklaces. she tried to go unnoticed. when she got there her eyes glittered in excitement. she finally found the perfect necklace for her best friend.
"Yes!" she shouted. "I found it! maybe she'll talk to me now....and not ignore me all the time...."
