In case you are a bit lost, the section you find this thread in is for posting an introduction of sorts so that everyone can come and say hello to you, interact, etc. It's also a great way to get to know the other players and their characters, and to up your post count so that you can reach the necessary 25 posts to access the rest of the boards.
You should also create a character sheet, which can be found in the "getting to know you and related" section under "who's who". there is a template there that you can modify as necessary to give some background information on your character. you can edit this at any time that you want to do so, add or change information. everyone SHOULD create one of these as everyone is not playing a character from the same anime and there are a lot of animes/mangas/video games out there that not everyone knows about. it also gives you the opportunity to "personalize" your character a bit because we don't expect you to be completely, strictly canon to the character, playing it as is in whatever medium he/she/it came from. i doubt any of them have been put in this kind of situation, after all.
and it is also HIGHLY recommended that you post a relationships thread so that people can declare what kind of relationship they have with your character, be it enemy, friend, acquaintance, or not knowing you. this is not mandatory but helps up your post count faster.
and last of all, post in all of the areas that you can to help give you experience in character, playing your character. a lot of people post in character even in the "out of character" (OOC) areas, which is cool. you can do either or there, but all other areas should be "in character". only one point, make sure you read at least the last page of posts before jumping into any thread that is "in character" in case you might be interrupting something.
other than that, have fun. enjoy your stay. and if you need help, feel free to let any one of us know!
