Posting Format

There are two types of posting formats we do on the boards. One is "In Character" or "IC" and the other is "Out of Character" or "OOC"

OOC POSTING
Places to use OOC Format:
Private Messages
Information Forums
OOC Forums
Getting to Know You and Related Forums

FORMAT:
First person.
This is the RP-er (NOT the character) talking, simply type like writing an email or blog.

EXAMPLE:
Hey there, how's it going? I just had the most interesting experience with a doughnut and some ramen!


IC POSTING
Places to use IC Format:
Role Play Blitz Forums
Student Life Forums
Housing Forums
Off Campus Forums

FORMAT:
Third Person
This is In Character and written like a story

Regular typing = Actions, Describing scenery, etc.
"Quotations" = The character is talking
Italics = Internal thoughts of the character
((Double Parenthesis)) = The RP-er talking

EXAMPLE:
Aqua carried a bag of ooze that she had gathered from the swamps of Dagoba. The smell was horrendous.

This ought to teach him.

She knocked on the door to his office.

"Oh Terra~ I've got a present for you..."
